- Using a wide-brimmed hat to provide additional shade for the eyes
- Avoiding direct viewing of reflective surfaces, especially during peak sunlight hours
- Being aware of the UV index and taking appropriate protective measures
- Ensuring that protective eyewear fits properly and doesn’t allow UV rays to enter from the sides
